L&M Cigarettes

L&M cigarettes are the original flagship brand of Liggett Group in the US. It was a very popular brand in the 1950's and 1960's and was the sponsor cigarette brand for one of the most popular TV shows of the times, American Hit Parade. Interestingly this cigarette brand is marketed around the world outside the U.S. by Philip Morris. The L&M cigarette brand is very popular in Latin America and Europe as a lower priced American style cigarette product.
Liggett & Myers Inc. ran it's paper advertisement that came from a 1976 magazine and features L&M Filter King cigarettes. The Proud Smoke … Product of a proud land, and shows New York Harbor with the Manhattan skyline in the background.
